dc.description.abstract | Strategic Human Resources Management dominates in the business field as it is a major aspect in business sector the last years. As years are passing by, companies uncover human resources as they understand that they can sustain and increase enterprises' profitability and competitive advantage. More specifically, recruitment and selection process is one of the most important elements in Strategic Human Resource Management since found to be aligned with organizational objectives. Recruiting and selecting qualified employees found to help business performance management, brand image, and employees' satisfaction. The aim of the present dissertation is to show the importance of recruitment and selection process on meeting corporate goals. Particularly, it is aimed to see if e-recruitment and selection process is less effective than traditional one and if biases indeed affect both modern and traditional ways of performance. In order to conclude on specific results semi-structured interviews were conducted. As far as the results concerned, employees found to find important recruitment and selection process in order to meet organizational objectives, however, e-recruitment and selection process found to be more effective. According to study's results, biases affect the hiring and selection of prospective candidates either it is online or traditional.
