dc.description.abstractIn this brief essay we will present the definition of leasing, by focusing to the roles of the participants in such a contract and by mentioning the advantages and disadvantages of each. Our attention will also cover the various types of leasing contracts and also the regulatory framework of the European Lease market. We will pay special attention to the Greek case and so we will refer to its regulatory framework and to same statistical data. Finally, we will conclude the essay by observing which the basic features of the lease contract are. Namely we will refer to the general applicability of the definition of the lease concept even though small differences exist from country to country.en_US
