dc.description.abstract | Ever since businesses have come across significant challenges as well as opportunities. Today they need to perform within a VUCA environment which demands quick adaptation so that to survive in such competitive environments. However, prior to the implementation of agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, it is important that the organization develops collectively an agile mindset, so that to assure the growth results promised by this philosophy. HR experts play a crucial role in the agile transformation but in order to set an example for the rest of the business their department is the first that needs to develop the mentality. Agile HR strategy is an absolute need to ensure long-term corporate competitive advantage. As opposed to traditional HR perspectives, agile HR can harness the development of people to perform efficiently within a dynamic context. Therefore, HR is progressively transforming from an administrative functionality to a strategic contributor. In accordance with a qualitative research carried out by the author in light of this dissertation, the latter having taken into consideration the opinions of 15 HR professionals, concluded that in Greece agile tends to be a famous term yet not a mindset fully applied in their daily routine. Nonetheless, it is of great significance that despite the challenges that may occur during its adaptation, participants do recognize how this mindset can play a vital role in upgrading HR’s position, granting it a seat around the organization’s table of strategic planning. | en_US |
